Alien Civilizations
An alien civilization is a huge topic, so this article is about one part of an alien civilization. The reason why I’m writing this article is, I watched a movie today and because of that movie, this topic came to my mind.
An alien civilization was divided into three main types.
- Type 1 Civilization
- Type 2 Civilization
- Type 3 Civilization
These three types were introduced by Nikolai S. Kardashev in 1963. Kardashev basically devised these civilization types based on the energy consumption of each civilization.
Based on the film I watched, I talk about type 1 civilization.
A type 1 civilization is that has harnessed all the power available to it on its home planet. And they capture all of the solar energy that reaches the planet, and all the other forms of energy it produces as well, like thermal, hydro, wind, ocean, and so on. Also, they can control all the weather on the planet and even volcanoes.
Quite obviously, we are not a Type I civilization, but scientists say we can archive that target within the next 200 years. Also, The scientist says type 1 civilization’s build some kind of web on all over the planet.
As in the picture, this is a satellite web, Type 1 civilization use this web for observing solar power and control the climate system of the planet. so the movie show this concept very clearly.
